Configure Map (Map)→
OsmAnd gives you great possibilities for using the maps. You can customize them, download different types of maps and even edit them! This menu contains settings that allow you to include additional information on the map, show the terrain, additional layers from raster online maps, your Favorite points, GPX-tracks and much more.
Online / Offline Raster Maps→
OsmAnd Raster maps is an extensive addition to the offline OpenStreetMap maps the application uses by default. Raster maps allow to combine different map sources with Vector Maps. You can display an overlay of hiking routes, live rain maps, live traffic data and an underlay of satellite imagery mixing with semi-transparent base vector map. You can also switch default maps to online web raster tiles.
Map styles and parameters→
OsmAnd provides a huge range of map styles for many activities like cycling, hiking, riding by car or snowmobile, etc. We name it Map style or Map rendering. Set parameters for Map rendering you can see more details on the map or hide some details. You can create your own map style OsmAnd. Choose your style or make it yourself and enjoy your trip.
